I was phoned up when a special order arrived and told them that I couldn't come in until after work at around 5pm. Was told that the "special order desk" wouldn't be open. Asked them to leave it at the front counter for me, they said they can't do that. They then said that they would leave it at the "special order desk", and would hand over to evening staff. When I went to pick it up there was no one at the "special orders desk" (as usual), and no one knew anything about it. Finally managed to corner one of their staff to ask for help. After 2 calls over the PA system for help, someone eventually came, but couldn't do anything because they didn't have the password for the software to process the order. They were very unenthusiastic about resolving the problem. In the end finally got my special order but took about 30 minutes (should have been less than 5). Will just have to chalk this up to another typical visit to Bunnings.
